Eva M. Uhrik, Esq.
With a passion for creating meaningful change for her clients, Eva Uhrik is committed to transforming lives as an Associate Attorney with Edens Law Group. The insights she has gained throughout her impressive career give her the tools necessary to navigate the often complex and emotional legal issues that arise in Family Law cases. Whether that is settling a divorce, arranging custody, or defending domestic violence victims, Eva is here to stand by your side and advocate for your rights.
Eva received her undergraduate degree nearly 30 years ago from Rutgers University before going on to Seton Hall School of Law for her J.D. Her Family Law clerkship was completed in Essex County with the Honorable Peter J. Cass. Although her credentials are noteworthy, it’s her heart for seeking justice that drives Eva’s work. She is consistently putting the needs of her clients first and advocating for their best interests.
One area that Eva is most proud of is her work with cases of domestic violence. She provides specialized expertise and experience to help you protect yourself and your family in these critical situations. Eva believes her role is to deliver compassionate counsel, as well as aggressive advocacy.
When Eva isn’t defending the rights of her clients, you can find her devoting her time and energy to community nonprofit groups. She serves on the Leadership Council of Platinum Minds, an organization which seeks to ensure educational opportunities for economically challenged but academically driven young men. Eva is also active with the New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s Speakers Bureau and volunteers with the Women’s Crisis Center and the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project.

See What Clients Are Saying About Eva M. Uhrik, Esq.
I recommend Edens Law Group for anyone who is dealing with Family Law matters. The firm acts as a large scale team to help and support their clients. I had the pleasure of working with Attorney Eva Uhrik and paralegal Yajaira Maya. They both kept communication with me on a weekly basis and were ALWAYS willing to answer even the smallest questions. Getting divorced is a difficult process but with a team like Eva and Jay, I felt connected, supported and as though I was getting the best legal advice I could. Thank you so much Edens Law!
Eva Uhrik is amazing and I would recommend her 110%. Yajaira the paralegal was also amazing! I’ve dealt with many attorneys and she’s been the best by far!
When I was searching for counsel to represent me in my child custody case, I was consistently discouraged by other firms. Then from the first call the energy they presented, was one of care and service. I fully endorse this place. I thank Eva Uhrik, Jay, and Elle for always taking my calls and frustrations and turning them into solutions.
Eva did a terrific job representing me through a very difficult time. Her office including Jay and all of the staff were readily available and very helpful. I had zero experience working with lawyers and did not know what to expect, so I am very grateful to have found Eva and the Eden's law group who took such good care of me.
